Here's how we're taking steps to keep our earth in good shape.
As an e-commerce business that’s intrinsically more eco-conscious—using less energy and producing fewer carbon emissions—we’re being thoughtful about our retail expansion from the very beginning, and 100% of our brick-and-mortar stores are climate neutral
We’ve substituted plastic mailers for biodegradable, better-for-the-earth packaging
This year, we’re launching effortless styles designed to go easier on the environment—including our first-ever, eco-conscious capsule in April—and we will continue to champion sustainability and experiment with additional ways to become more responsible
As always, we’ll push the boundaries in everything we do to make the greatest impact we can throughout our sustainability journey.
Just in time for Earth Day, we’re launching a brand-new collection made from recycled and upcycled materials. We also kick-started a partnership with Repreve®, a company that transforms recycled plastic bottles into fibre and is well on its way to keeping over 20 million discarded bottles out of landfills this year.
Our first-ever, eco-conscious capsule is our chance to learn, evolve, and innovate—so we can continue to inspire our VIPs with even more sustainable choices. In our pursuit of a better future, we are actively considering our environmental impact at every stage of a product’s lifecycle.
As an e-commerce brand first and foremost, our platform is intrinsically more eco-conscious than traditional retail companies. But as we expand our brick-and-mortar presence, we’re committed to being thoughtful from the start about integrating earth-friendly practices into all aspects of the business.
To that end, we’ve partnered with the renowned sustainability experts at South Pole to help us evaluate the energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions—emitted through electricity, water usage, and more—at all of our retail locations. By sourcing both renewable energy and carbon offsets, we’re proud to announce that we have achieved net-zero greenhouse gas emissions and 100% of our stores are climate neutral.
We teamed up with recycling company Marimole to make sure none of our scrap and bulk fabrics go to waste. How it works: Our fabrics are separated by material, then shredded. Natural fabrics, like cotton, are re-spun into new fabrications, while synthetics are melted down and used in other products.
Stay tuned for even more ways we’re becoming earth-friendly.
